I am so surprised that Mateo is already two and a half. Time goes by so quickly. We have enjoyed Mateo. His toodlerhood is more work than I ever imagined but it has also been rewarding. He has an amazing imagination (I only can compare to what Adan's is). He seems so more imaginitive than Adan at this age. The other day for about two hours we played that we were in a space ship and we were hiding from the bad guys while we were on the floor and reading books. We have a lot of fun together and this is the type of play we do while Adan is at school. Mateo enjoys the preschool we go to at the Erekson's. If I ever mention him going to school in the future, he always reminds me that he already goes to school and his teacher is Sister Erekson, who happens to be his nursery teacher as well. We are currently preparing Mateo to be excited about potty training. He says he will go if he has a DDDDora seat (as Mateo whould pronounce it) You have to be a Dora fan to appreciate it. We have told him all the incentives we will give him if he is a big boy, like Diego underwear, chewing gum (he wants to be like Adan), be like Adan and gets some new movies. I just ordered a Dora movie and hopefully that will be the big motivator. I really want to get him excited before I take the plunge. We will see. It has to be Mateo's idea before he will do anything, so he could also be my boy who is 3 or older before he will do it. Oh well, for now he is my big two and a half year old.

Good luck on the potty training. I am not looking forward to when Owen hits that stage. Let me know any new tricks you learn!
your such a good mom. what i cute boy. by the way i tagged you so check out the rules on my blog.
He is so cute and so big! I loved hearing Aaron tell how the boys interact with each other and how much Mateo wants to be just like Adan- and Adan doesn't seem to mind! I'm so excited to get to be around them more once you move out here!
