Boys, Boys, Boys!!!

I love my boys. Sometimes they are challenging. Like this week Aaron being gone two weeks back to back. I am always so tired and have no down time with a new baby who loves to be held. But then Adan and Mateo always surprrise me. Adan is a good little entertainer for Mateo. They love the new toys Aaron brought them from his trip to Utah. Some K'nex (which for little boys who have an engineering mind.) Are full of entertainment. I was a little hesitent on this new set aaron bought because they are for ages 5+. I thought it would be too difficult for Adan to figure out the steps, but he surprised me and it has been a good source of entertainment. He also loves to play camping and is good in signing up Mateo to play with him. They pack up their gear and stay clear of the Abominable Snowman. (You have to be a Scooby fan to understand.) Aaron and I make good Snowmen and it is so funny to hear Mateo say Abominable Snowman over and over. I am enjoying their playing by themselves for long spans of time. It makes it easier to hold Jacob all the time. I never thought motherhood just got better and better everyday, but it does. I am surprised that I made it through a week of Aaron being gone and preparing to leave again so well. I owe thanks to the boys for being so good, even though they had a mom who was very sick (At moments I felt like I was going to pass out, and a brother who cried when I put him down.)
Adan is enjoying preschool still, this past week he had a Mardi Gras parade. This coming week, I will be helping out with his Valentine's party. We played with a lot of friends this past week. Which always makes the week go by faster. We are really going to miss our friends when we go on what Adan calls our "long vacation".
Mateo is doing great! He keeps us busy. He is so happy and full of personality. I wouldn't change him for the world. Even though at times I am tempted to put him in preschool and not look back.
Jacob is great! He loves his mom and loves to be held. He is liking being on the floor more and looking around which gives me small breaks. I am mostly just thankful that he sleeps through the night.
Aaron is doing good as well. Like I mentioned he just got back from Utah. He met with his professor at USU and scoped out apartments and the big (haha!) town of Logan.
Here are some pictures of the boys for everyone's enjoyment!

Lucy was just like that. She cried every time I set her down until she was at least six months old. And she was a great big baby too, so it wasn't like I was carrying around a lightweight. She outgrew it, thankfully, when she could sit up and crawl. But she is still one to need snuggles and cuddles. I'm glad to oblige my now big five-years-old-next-week girl.

Kids are a lot of fun. Owen was a little like that. He wanted to ba a part of everything. He still does, but luckily he can see most of what goes on by himself. Unfortunately, there is a lot of messes to clean up!
