Jacob at 5 months

The other day a member of our ward mentioned to me how surprised at all that Jacob was doing and could not believe he was so big etc... I was thinking in my mind, if you are thinking that, think at how shocked I am that 5 months of my baby's life has gone by. I am so surprised how quickly newborns become babies. Jacob has been such a sweet baby to have around. He is by far my most happiest baby and oddly enough my most fussy. He loves to be held by me, however he has made much progress in the last month. He usually goes about 12 hours between feedings at night! My most favorite part. He can be laid down for a little while on his tummy and be content. He smiles all the time (as long as he is being held). He now naps regularly. When he wakes up at 5:30-6a.m. he goes right back down until 8a.m. (he spoils me I know). So even though I do not get that much done throughout the day, if I actually woke up early I could get some things done. However, I am enjoying having a baby and saying to myself, I can wait because my baby loves to be held. I have never been able to say that. Jacob loves his mommy very much! Currently he is working on trying to sit up(my favorite thing when they get stable enough). He is teething already. He is also great on his tummy. He has great head moment and is so strong. I just can't say enough about this wonderful baby and all he is doing. I did however decide that since my baby is 5 months old that I should probably start exercising. I am glad we are starting to have good weather and we are enjoying getting out and walking around our neighborhood. It has been fun because the Fox's just moved around the corner and we walk over there quite regularly to say hi.
