We have really gotten to know our neighbors and have been enjoying spending time with them over the last several months. I am going to be so sad to leave them. We get to hangout almost everyday. We decided that we would have them join us in geocaching. We went up the Bonneville Shoreline and found a couple of geocaches. It was great company, some good exercise and a beautiful view of Logan.

Remembering PawPaw
Since my SIL kept Jacob over the weekend we had to go and pick him up and had the opportunity to go to the cemetary where PawPaw (Harold) is buried and teach the boy's about Memorial Day. They enjoyed going and this is the first time as a family we have had the opportunity to all go together. There were already a lot of beautiful flowers when we arrived and we got to add some patriotic ones to the bunch.
We love Paw Paw so much. We miss him so much. He was such an example of faith, love and patience. I wish the boys would have had a better chance to know such a great man. I am so thankful for Harold and all that he has done for our family. I still think of him often, especailly since looking at Aaron as he is getting older reminds me so much of his dad. Mateo was so excited to go see PawPaw since he really doesn't remember him because he was only 6 weeks old when he met him. However I told him that PawPaw was watching over him when he was very sick. So Mateo has to connect everything together and when we got to the cementary he said, "Am I going to see the angel that was helping me when I was so sick?" I love that boy and all his wisdom. That is how he refers to PawPaw whenever we talk about Harold.(The angel that was watching over me when I was sick.)

Lagoon
Well we could simplicity sum up Memorial Day weekend with fun, family, camping, rain and Lagoon and that would describe it best. However I also have to add that my wonderful SIL kept Jacob for a couple of days since the forecast was rain all weekend and we camped at Lagoon. We had a lot of fun, but we got really wet. Thankfully our tents stayed dry and by the time we had to pack up most things had dried. I did have lots of laundry to do since a lot of things got very wet! Oh yeah, and next time their is forecast for rain I will know that we need lots of extra clothes if you are going to Lagoon in the rain. We had a great time and got to spend time with family, what more could we have asked for??

Karate with Joshua
Adan loves karate, he loves practicing it on anyone or anything and would love to be in karate classes. So this week my SIL called to see if Adan wanted to go to bring a buddy to karate day with Joshua. Of course Adan wanted to go and since we were already heading to Lagoon for the weekend, what's another hour further to go. Adan loved going with his cousin. His favorite part was breaking a board.

Adan's Kindergarten graduation
Although Adan will be attending Kindergarten at Bowmar next year, he has loved his year as a Kindergartner at Morningside preschool! It has made him feel so big. Adan has loved his time in Teacher Marie's class and has learned a lot. He can now read, write his name very legibly, color better, add and subtract, and enjoys singing. Adan made a really good friend at school too! Adan is looking forward to summer vacation and having a sleepover with his friend. Adan will be sad to leave Logan, but I think once we get back to MS it will be great.

Fun in ID
We went to ID and had a great time. We went were able to eat breakfast at IHOP with my dad.

Aaron got an early Father's Day gift, new shoes! We went to Marisa's school carnival,

attend my cousin's graduation and had lunch with her.

Aaron got to see Star Trek, we went to another one of my cousin's weddings, and eat dinner at my favorite resturant! On Sunday it was a little more relaxed and we went to church and then celebrated my grandfather's birthday.
We did a lot and had a lot of fun. WOW, we have been traveling every weekend in May. This weekend we are off again.

Mother's Day weekend
We had another great weekend. On Friday we went to Orem because we needed to do a couple of things like get Adan a Social Security card to register for school and go to Costco. We decided to go to my sisters and stay the night since my mom was coming in town for the weekend. I enjoyed ice cream with Samantha. Stayed up way to late working on Mother's Day gifts. The scrapbooks turned out really nice. I just have one to finish up for my aunt. My sister loved the Davis plaque I made. The boy's enjoyed playing with cousins and going to a nursery to pick out some flowers for me. They are planted and in a pretty pot. My mom, sister and I enjoyed each others company. My mom, little sister Marisa and my step dad drove back to Logan together on Saturday afternoon. We met up with Aaron and the boy's and enjoyed dinner together. My kids absolutely love love love my mom , Tia Risa and grandpa. Mateo is so attached to my mom and has to be on her lap, having her carrying him and telling her stories. Jacob loved cuddling with grandpa. Adan favorite thing about their visit was my mom introducing him to a western (cowboy) movie and buying Aggie ice cream. We had a wonderful Mother's Day. We went to church, the boys sang in sacrament. So cute! Jacob has decided he will cry all during nursery, unless my neighbor holds him (she is the music leader for nursery). We came back to our apartment and ate a delicious Lunch Aaron fixed for us. Enchiladas, rice, Agua de Sandia, and earlier Aaron had made Pan Dulce. We had a Mexican lunch since it was Mexican Mother's Day as well. That only happens every so may years so it was fun to celebrate it with my mom. The weekend went great and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I loved being able to relax, it was great!

Tumbling, Bear Lake, Pan Dulce
Just a quick update, mostly pictures to document what we have been up to these last couple of weeks.
At the end of April the boys finished up their tumbling class. They loved it and it was totally worth our money. If only Vicksburg had a community education program.

At the beginning of May since Aaron finished finals we decided to head to Bear Lake the next day to celebrate. It is still cold in the evening so we rented a cabin. We had so much fun. We were also able to drive to Montpelier ID and enjoy a museum and learn about pioneers.

We enjoyed Cinco de Mayo. The boys wore red to school. We ate tacos for dinner. While the boys and I were at music class Aaron made Pan Dulce. He is becoming a pro. I tease him and tell him we should open up a Cafe and sell Tacos (with his delicious meat he flavors so well) and also my grandfather's wonderful Pan Dulce. He also decorated it very festive and we enjoyed starting a new tradition. I was able to educated the boys about Cinco de Mayo and that they are half Mexican. They never knew.
