Can you guess who each one is?

I thought is would be fun to see if you can guess each one of the boys when they were all about 3 months old. Okay, so now that I have uploaded all of the pictures, I can see that two of the boys resemble each other and one not as much. Oh well. I had fun looking for the pictures.
(If you are wondering if you are correct #1 is Adan, #2 is Jacob and #3 is Mateo
Wow those boys are too cute! Of course I am their mom and I am biased.

Christmas project

As many of you know, Aaron and I love to do projects in our spare time. I have now figured out that Aaron and I cannot not be left home alone without coming up with a project to do around our house. Our newest one is (for those of you who have been to our house) OUR PINK BATHROOM. Well the pink bathroom is no more. We have taken down the flooring and walls. We are so happy to finally be updating this room. I think besides the carpet that needs to be replaced as well, this will conclude the Byrd renovations. Of course if we end up selling our house when we go off to Utah State (my request when coming back to Vicksburg to house hunt will be) no more fixer uppers. Although I will admit that I love doing projects with Aaron, I would rather be scrapbooking or another one of my many hobbies.

Christmas is a wonderful time of year

I love Christmas so much. I enjoy buying gifts. As Aaron puts it, I don't do anything simple. I think I go a little overboard but oh well, we all love it and have fun. The boys loved everything they received this year! This was Adan's first Christmas to really know what he wanted from Santa Claus. His list: a telescope ( we watch a lot of Diego at our house) and a dump truck. Santa granted his wishes and more so he was a very happy camper. Mateo is still at the age where he really doesn't know what is going on so Aaron and I put in a request to Santa to bring him lots of Diego toys, since Mateo is a huge fan (putting it mildly). Well up until Christmas day Mateo kept saying "NO DIEGO TOYS" with a cleat tone of voice. Well the order was already into to Santa so we stuck with the plan. Christmas morning we all held our breath and Mateo could have not been more thrilled to get a lot of Diego toys. Aaron and I enjoyed our presents. My present came before Christmas as I had discovered a few days before that my camera had died. I was excited to take pictures with my new pink camera!! I love it!

Jacob is 3 months old

I just thought I would post an updated picture of Jacob since Christmas Eve was his 3 month birthday. Jacob is doing so well. As you can see in this picture he is such a happy baby. He is now laughing out loud. He loves it best when he is being held. He will let you put him down only if he has just been feed, one of his brothers is talking to him. Adan's favorite thing to do is read Jacob books and put his binkie in his mouth if I am busy and he starts crying. Adan is such a great brother and Jacob appreciates it.

Jacob at 2 months

Jacob is now two months. Wow I cannot believe that 2 months has already passed. We are so excited to have him in our family. We love when Jacob smiles and laughs when we talk to him.

Mateo makes us laugh

When we go over to the Wallace's Mateo always manages to find these goggles to put on. I love it when Mateo puts them on because this is one of the many things he does to make me laugh.

Adan at age 4

Adan's favorite thing to do when he gets home from Preschool is to climb trees. He especially likes me to photograph his climbing.

Go Aggies!

We found out this week that Aaron has been accepted to the long term training program through the Army Corp of Engineers. What this translates to is that Aaron will be going to work on his PhD at Utah State the Fall of 2008. We are so excited for this up coming change. We are grateful for the opportunity to return to Utah for a year for Aaron to do his coursework and are looking forward to being so close to so many family members and friends.
