Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a fun birthday yesterday. Adan was so funny. After school he said, If it is your birthday Mom. Why didn't you get any presents and why aren't we having party. Well we enjoyed a pretty quiet birthday with the kids, Aaron and me. Although we did get a few visitors. I will include a picture of one. They brought yummy key kime bars for the birthday girl. They were delicious!I did infact get several presents but they were not necessarily wrapped. A few are coming late from family as well. I got some pretty tulips from the boys. Aaron took the afternoon off and made me a delicious cake from scratch! My mother in law gave me a gift certificate. I got a soup cookbook from a friend. I also got a pretty necklace and earring set from another friend. The most wonderful gift I received was that I got all new makeup. It has been fun to wear make-up and I now have a goal to wear it on a daily basis. Wow it is hard to get all ready every morning. All in all I had a memorable 27th birthday filled with love from my family, presents, phone calls and emails to wish me a happy birthday.
