School, Lots of Homework, Visits and a New Do

We have had another great week. I cannot believe we have been in Logan for a month. We are really enjoying it! This past week was the boy's first week of school. I'd like to report that over all it went pretty well. We have discovered that Adan is not scared the days Mateo goes to school and he is much more hesitant and sometimes teary when Mateo is not there. Adan's teacher said he is doing great and keeping up with the rest of the class which I am glad. I was a little nervous since Adan would cry when we left him they were going to say that he was not mature enough to be in Kindergarden. I love what he is doing and it has been a lot of fun to talk with him about it. Mateo loves preschool, talks about it all the time. Loves playing with the girls. A sharp contrast to Adan. Wishes he could go everyday. However he is loving his time with me. We have done shopping, read lots of books and I have still managed to have lots of time for myself while Mateo is off playing and Jacob is napping. I love it! It is also great to have a neighbor their age to play with all the time! Aaron has had lots and lots of homework this past week. I felt so bad that he had to stay up until 4am twice. I have had the kids lots and it is going fine. I luckily been cooking lots on the weekends so we plenty of food for leftovers throughout the week. I got to do some shopping on Friday since it is quite cold in the mornings and evenings. I realized how few of clothes Adan had since he only went to school three days a week. I found some good deals and even got the boy's Christmas sweaters already! Now I just need to start my Christmas shopping. On Friday we were also invited to the bishop's house for a BBQ for all the new people in the ward. It was good. We pretty much talked to all the people who have been friendly at church. I did however find a good young woman who babysits and the boy's really enjoyed playing with her. That night the boy's wanted to campout so somehow we convinced them to put the tent in their room since Aaron and I hadn't had a chance to hangout all week.

We were so lucky on Saturday to have my sister and her kids come down for the second weekend in a row. Aaron was great and set us up for haircuts and pedicures. We had a nice relaxing afternoon kid free and pampering.

Our kids have been having such a great time together. I am so glad that we are getting to spend so much time together!

On Sunday I made homemade tortillas for the second time. My sister was great to say that they taste as good as my mom's. I was glad they tasted good. The kid's have been enjoying helping me make then as well. We also enjoyed Evan over for another Sunday dinner. I am so glad he love enchiladas so much because having him over for Sunday each week it reminds me how short my menu is. I am glad he mentioned that we can have enchiladas anytime.

We are looking forward to another great week. I hope I can get some of my projects done. I have been making some bracelets, learning more about digital photography and coloring lots of file folder games. I am enjoying not having home projects, a yard to maintain and a bogger house to clean so I have a lot more time for hobbies.

Here is the photo for the week
