More fun today!

We had a great day today. I keep wondering how I am going to come up with fun things to keep the kids creative want for crafts and fun going. Well, yesterday we were suppose to make cookies but of course, more things from Vicksburg did not make it here. I didn't have all the ingredients necessary so instead Adan and Mateo played outside with the neighbor. Today of course I prepared myself with the necessary ingredients to still make cookies in case the boy's asked because as many of you know, the boy's don't forget anything! Of course, after completing the magnets, Adan asked,"When are we making cookies." I figured I should just get them done since Jacob was asleep. We made cookies and had some for lunch. They were delicious and made with lots of Adan and Mateo love. After lunch the kids had been asking to play with the neighbor since we had woken up and got ready. So they headed over to play with him. A few minutes later they ran over and asked it they could make fruit necklaces. I had to go over and figure out what they were asking to make. They were actually making fruitloop necklaces (I guess Ethan-our neighbor's family had made them for family home evening and Ethan has asked if he could make them with Adan and Mateo.) So off the boy's went to make necklaces. They had a fun time making the necklaces.

I am so glad we have a little boy that is enjoying playing with Adan and Mateo as much as they are enjoying playing with him. They played for a long time together. I also felt in the mood to do some more baking and decided to make some homemade tortillas for the boy's to enjoy with dinner. Well, Mateo loved them and ate at least three. Adan had his quesadilla with two and Jacob ate one. I think Aaron enjoyed the tortillas as well. Thanks mom for your help recently. I will have to make this a regular activity. The boy's also had fun rolling them out. I think tonight's highlight was definitely Jacob standing on his own repeatedly and discovering the fruitloop necklace, eating the fruitloops, while standing by himself and then putting his hands in the air. Super cute boy!

Jacob excited about his new skill, standing on his own.

Tomorrow we are looking forward to meeting Adan's teacher and seeing the boy's new school. We are also going to try and hit the lobrary storytime before hitting the road to Orem. We are going to see my sister, and then bring them back to Logan for the weekend (where of course we have great plans for the weekend) and we will be stopping by some great Mississippi friends house as well.
I should probably be paking and preparing for tomorrow since I did at least five loads of laundry in preparation for leaving and I haven't gotten it all folded. Their are more important things to do like blog!
