A Fun Reunion with the Lucas and Hahn families

We really had a great time meeting up with some great friends from Mississippi on Thursday. I am so glad that Rachel was up to hosting us. She is so amazing! The whole family loved seeing both the Lucas and Hahn families. It was good for me to have an evening dedicated to talking with friends. I haven't had much of that since we left Mississippi. It was so nice to finally meet Greta in person since we have just seen her on the Hahn's blog. The boys really had fun at the Lucases house. They have a great backyard to play in (the inside was great as well. I think my favorite parts were Rachel's baby grand piano and the basement full of fun toys! That was by far the kids other place that they enjoyed. We kept losing Jacob with all their stairs!)
Anyways, it was great to catch up. It was fun to hear about their lives and how many things have changed and how good both families are doing since we haven't seen both families in over a year. We also found out how close the Lucases really live. Close, especially if you've lived in Mississippi and have driven 20 minutes to see friends what's another 20 minutes to see people you enjoy. We are also looking forward to try and coordinate our trip back to Mississippi going through Denver.

girls. They are so cute and it was so fun to see how much they have grown since the last time we saw them. Plus, I was very excited that Madeline still remembered me!
