Our family vacation

Wow what a fun vacation packed into just a few short days. We drove a total of 1400 miles in 5 days. I felt like I should be back in MS after having been in the car that long. Instead we did a scenic drive around UT. A run down of our trip.

Thursday-We drove after Adan's teeball from Logan to Moab. We arrived in Moab very late.Camped out.

Friday-Woke up, packed up, and with only one minor delay of Mateo spraying the car with the ENTIRE bottle of sunscreen, we were almost on the road at the scheduled time. Drove to Mesa Verde National park. Explored. Hiked and the boys earned their Jr.Ranger badges. Went geocaching. Ate dinner and Slept in a tepee in Cortez, CO.

Saturday- Woke up, had breakfast on the road. Stopped at Four Corners National Monument. Mooqui Caves, and arrived at Zion National Park in the late afternoon. Hiked with Aaron's brothers. Such a relief since they helped pack the boys. Finished the boys Jr. Ranger books but not in time to get their badges. Drove to St. George. Saw baby Karson and snuggled with him for awhile. Slept.

Sunday- Church, Dyllan received the priesthood, baby blessing, BBQ to celebrate Father's Day and Dyllan and baby Karson. What a fun day to spend with the Byrd side of the family. Drive back to Zion's to get those hard earned badges and then off to Orem to SLEEP.

Monday- Slept in, played with cousins, placed a geocache, went to Cabella's and then headed back to Logan.

What a trip!
