WOW so much has changed with Jacob over the last few weeks. Jacob is now signing and even trying to say words. He is good with the b sound. He attempts to say words like, blue, bubble, and ball. Since we took lots of pictures on our trip he says cheeez. His new favorite is mommmeeee to get my attention. He is even signing more and saying the m sound with it! I can't believe a month ago he wasn't saying much and he is just coming right along. He is even pointing out pictures in books. I know it may not seem like a lot to most people but for a mommy who has been working with him it is very exciting.
Jacob is still a tiny boy. We enjoy snuggling with him so much. He has even got better with family and friends at cuddling up to them. He has really warmed up to most everyone. I guess getting to know them over the last year has helped a lot. He is really going to miss all the family and friends that dote over him all the time.
He would love to be using the potty but his mommy is not ready for that especially with the move. He will bring me diaper when he needs changed or grab and pull on his diaper. He has also been found without a diaper as well. However this mommy isn't going to just aboard the potty training ship anytime soon. After all he is still our baby.
Jacob is definitely a toddler and throwing his share of tantrums as well. I am learning to walk away and they stop soon after.
