My 28th birthday

So I just turned 28 on the 22nd of February. While being in the hospital wasn't the most ideal thing. I had family and friends visit and shower me with their company, phone calls and also some fun gifts. First I must say that my mother in law was stellar and got me my present before we even went to the hospital, meaning my present arrived the first week of February. My in laws gave me a wonderful gift card to Rod Works! Yeah. They know me too well. My sister made me lots and lots of special treats while I was in the hospital with Mateo and visited me lots and lots as well. (She also had Jacob for three weeks.) Aaron did many small and wonderful things during the last few weeks, like let me go shopping and buy decorations, sent me off to get a fun haircut, and I got to enjoy an evening at my sisters to go to the movie, dinner and more shopping. (Thanks a million Aaron). My mom also gave me some money, which I put to good use while I was shopping! One of my wonderful friends sent a box of books for me and Mateo. I loved it! I also had wonderful friends that sent me flowers, a cookbook and some essential oils to make my house smell wonderful. I also cannot forget to mention all the wonderful birthday wishes and cards I received. Thank you thank you everyone for making my birthday more than just a birthday in the hospital.
I am including a picture of my delicious cake that Aaron made from scratch and a decoration I made for Valentine's Day that got finished once we came home. Also I cannot forget to add a picture of the beautiful bouquet of flowers sent by great friends, delivered by an angel!
I will definitely be posting more pictures of all the fun decorations I purchased and hope to make some fabulous cupcakes from my new cupcake cookbook. (Sheri, you must have know that I am working on my cooking skills!)
