Mateo's half birthday

Today is Mateo's half birthday. Although being in the hospital is not the most ideal way to spend it, we feel so lucky to have him apart of our family. He is such a wonderful child. He is happy, active, loving and very funny. Mateo can make you laugh even when you are frustrated with him. We feel so blessed to be his parents and are so grateful to have him here with us. We cannot even imagine life with out Mateo. Mateo is going to have a lengthy recovery even after we come home.
