Jacob is now waving. We are so excited that he seems to be learning new things each month. He has even grown a little taller this month, and I think some weight as well. Some pants I bought over Easter fell off at first and now they seem to fit a little better. He can still wear clothes ranging from 12 months to 18 months. He is still a very happy boy despite his illnesses. We are glad we have been getting the help we need and getting him in the doctor as soon as possible. We have been getting assessments this month and determining what communication level Jacob is at. (Our pediatrician was concerned at 18 months). He is behind but I have seen some improvements already and expect that Jacob will keep improving. He will be getting some extra help to hopefully jump start his delays. We are working on some signs this week and hope maybe that helps. I think it will also help to have his ear infections treated. We follow back up with the ENT this week. We will have lots of activities to go to this next month and I hope to see some improvements with Jacob's communication. Nursery has been a challenge for Jacob (he gets held the whole time ), but hopefully he will get use to it soon. Jacob is 19 months and we can't believe how quickly he's growing. Our baby is starting to look like a toddler.
