Stitches, Fun and Jacob is 10 months old

We have had a fun week in Idaho. We were very appreciative that my aunt and cousin flew out to Utah to drive back with us to Idaho last weekend. We had an enjoyable time shopping and having fun with family. As for the drive. All I can say is my aunt was amazing. We made the drive in 6 hours. Usually you can make the drive in 6 hours if you do not have to make stops, and with three kids we did. The kids did great. We were very spoiled to be greeted with a wonderful BBQ made by my uncle. The adventure started Monday when my mom told the boys she would buy them boy bedding since all they have is girl stuff. Adan agreed that he did not like the purple and pink sheets. His request, Transformers. We went to Shopko. We hadn't been their for more then 10 minutes when Adan had found his sheets and Mateo was off to find what he wanted, when he ran into a metal sign, was startled and ran for me. I comforted him and realized he had gashed his lip. We slowed the bleeding and looked at the cut and realized we were going to need stitches. Mateo went to the Emergency Room and got two stitches. On Thursday we also had an enjoyable day. Pioneer Day! We had a picnic for church at West Park. The weather was great and I enjoyed seeing old friends. The kids enjoyed being their for a very long time. Jacob also hit the 10 month milestone Thursday. He has been teething since I have been here so I have had sleepless nights but he just cut a tooth bringing his total to 8! He has had a lot of attention and would love more. He is cruising furniture, standing and today has just started expiermienting with letting go. My little baby is turning into my big baby. He stills loves mom but has enjoyed being held and played with family members. He loves his Uncle Rod and so I have been getting a little of a break while I have been here. My sister Marisa has been great as well helping out with the boys. We are loving our time here and we are so glad to be close to family. The kids are really comfortable with everyone. We will be here for another week and a half.

It sounds like you have a lot of helpers! That is always a wonderful thing. Isn 't it wierd what kids can do. My friends little girl broke her leg during sacrament meeting!
